KEEPING IN TOUCH

Letters from A Distance

We often get letters from people who want to keep in touch with us. Some from those who visit occasionally and some from those who spend the summer here in Cape May. Please write and let us know how you are doing.

Anne F in Eritrea writes that she made it safely there and she is asking for prayers that her work and residency permits are approved in a timely manner. She, Paula, and George are working to equip their core group to take over the ministry, as the three will be leaving Eritrea permanently this summer. Pray that the Lord will continue to work in the lives of the Eritrean people long after the missions have left them. Anne is also beginning a deaf videoing project. She asks for prayers that she and those she is training are able to have it in place long before she has to leave.

From Bob and Nancy Mayers:

"We pray all are well and keeping warm. Am sure the lights will shine brightly at tree lighting time and we wish each one of you a blessed and merry Christmas and may the spirit of peace be with you this Christmas and throughout the coming year in good health, Lord willing."

From George F in Eritrea:

"Thank you for all your encouragement to me during my summer visit. Blessing to you all."

From Adrienne & Dick McCullough (guests during the MAC Tours):

"A note to say Thank You for the delicious respite on December 15th during hte hour tour. The church was welcoming, warm and very friendly. The young people were great!"

Guess Who Stopped by...

Lynn and Dorcas White stopped by one day in June. They were up north visiting their family and couldn't resist coming to see what new here in Cape May. They looked well; even though Dorcas was using a cane due to recent foot surgery (she says that Lynn is an excellent caretaker). They were thrilled with all the work that has been done to the church building and asked to be remembered to all of their friends here at CIBC. Keep them and their family in your prayers.
