MISSION OUTREACH PROJECT On Monday, October 16th, we are going to Atlantic City to serve lunch at Sister Jean's Kitchen. We will leave the church at 11:00 and return at 3:00. If you are interested, please contact Laurie Thomas or leave a note in the church office. We are also seeking donations of shoes, socks, hats, gloves and blankets to take with us.
World Mission Offering On Sunday, October 8th, we are taking the annual World Mission Offering. This offering supports American Baptist Missionaries throughout the world. Please make sure the word of our Savoir reaches every ear around the world! We each need to give in accordance with the blessings God has given us. Our Youth Outreach is selling 2007 calendars as a fund raiser. They are beautiful and would make wonderful gifts! The cost is just $6.00 and goes to a great cause. Please see John Spriggs or Diane Cooper if you want to purchase one (or MORE!)
Believe it or not, there are still some souvenir items from our Church's 150th Anniversary Celebration available. We still have some cookbooks for $2.00, trivets with a picture of our building on them for $5.00 and some beautiful stationary for $1.50. These are great buys (especially the recipe books because you know what great cooks we all are)! Just see Sarah Alvarez and she'll show them to you.
